◆ Mature roleplayer and over 25 years old. I will indulge in sexual and violent themes. With this in mind, I will not ERP or ship with a player's character that is not my OOC partner's. If your characters choose to try and pursue a romance with any of mine, they are within their right, I won't tell you not to. Just please keep in mind it will always end in rejection, there is no alternative or chance you will be able to convince any of my characters otherwise. I am not responsible for if this ends up upsetting you OOC. Sorry if this is disappointing, thank you for understanding.◆ Mirror roleplayer. While I have a tendency to lean personally into paragraph roleplaying, I more often than not try to mimic the style of whomever I am roleplaying with. So don't fear potential language barriers, I can make it work.◆ Fast typer. Amongst other things, this can result in a lot of typos. I know they're there and they aren't intentional. I promise I'm not stupid, I'm just tired and don't have the energy to correct every mistake I make. I will, however, mention the mistake if it is literally illegible. 🤙🏻

A Soul Eater Doujinshi | Original Author: KISS | Miya Katsura

Translator Note:
So I decided to do this because I've known about this doujinshi since 2009 and despite my searching, have never came upon an English translation. I therefore took it upon myself to do so, merely because I wanted to read it. This took me several, several hours as I do not speak Japanese to any proficiency, but despite that, I feel that even as far as an unofficial translation is concerned – I will advocate for the quality and accuracy of the translation. I cannot say with absolute certainty that it has captured the original authors intent 1-for-1, but I certainly portrayed a story here I felt was cohesive and enjoyable for the reader. For that, I hope you enjoy.One more less important side note:
The original author includes a lot of kissing in this doujinshi despite the characters relationship seeming pretty platonic (or like the point of this all was to become closer, one of them even mentions merely wanting to hug the other and yet they kiss multiple times??) It's strange, I don't really understand it or feel it adds much to the story organically outside of maybe the second kiss, but alas. I did not write it, I only translated it. They do have other SE works so there may just be missing continuity from those, but it does feel strange regarldess. Still enjoyed it anyways.I did not write or draw the orignal doujinshi and all rights to the characters and story are reserved to the original Soul Eater creator, Atsushi Ōkubo.

A Soul Eater Fanzine series written and drawn by Ludda

Hey everyone, this is my fanzine I've been working on since 2021, slowly but surely. This is wholly a passion project. The plot is outlined before drawn, so do know there is a thought out story intended to be depicted here, but how long it may take to get there, only time will tell.I'd like to also make clear that this is my story to tell. While this is obviously derivative of Atsushi Ōkubo's Soul Eater in that it's literally a continuation of that story, my depiction is my own. I strive to carefully toe the line of what I believe Ōkubo's intentions are for his character's personalities and ambitions, while also incorporating my own interpretations of these. That all said, if you don't like how I've decided to depict a character from this IP that you may like or headcanon differently, you're well within your right to feel that way, I only ask that you respect my right to my own depictions and interpretations. I do absolutely value retaining the authenticity of character's original depictions, so know I do my best to maintain that.

ludda rants about soul eater

This story will pull loosely from NOT!, but my inclusion of lore from Fire Force will be extremely limited. If in the timespan it takes me to create this (which will be a long time) Ōkubo releases a continuation of Soul Eater, something greatly hinted at at the ending of Fire Force (much to my dismay), please know I will not be adjusting the trajectory of my story to suit those plot points. I'd argue already my dismissal of Fire Force's plot points outside the appearance of Maka's mother have effectively made this story and immediate AU. Do with that what you will, but know the idea is and always has been to be a continuation off the end of the original Soul Eater manga.If you're curious as to why I've chosen this, it's because I was and am content with how Soul Eater ended, for the most part. I began this project before the ending of Fire Force was released and to be honest, the idea that Ōkubo will be continuing Soul Eater is a bit frustrating to me. I can't say I particularly liked NOT! and while Fire Force from what I have consumed of it, is fine, his portrayal of the SE cast in NOT! has me extremely concerned with how he intends to take the characters. Will I read it when that time comes? Probably, but I'm nervous about it deflating me in the same vein Hanyou no Yashahime did. I really don't want another of my dearly loved IPs from my childhood being tainted by people who can't stop beating a dead horse. I would definitely consider myself someone who prefers concluded IPs remain that way.Also, I've opted to change the name of the zine from "Soul Eater: After Years" to "Soul Searcher". I think it adds a small degree of separation from the source material and also is not a reference to FFIV lmao.
